Park Bills

If you or a staff member has a sale in progress, with items already added to a bill, but the customer is not ready to check out, Nobly lets you “Park” the bill until the customer is ready. 

1.     Tap the menu icon in the upper right of the bill

2.     Choose “Park Bill” from the drop-down choices

3.     Choose “Print and Send” to park the bill and send any relevant tickets to your kitchen printer.

Restore Receipts from Parked Bills

To access parked bills when the customer is ready to check out, follow these steps:

  1. Tap the menu icon in the upper left of your Nobly iPad screen to access your “Menu”.
  2. Select “Parked Bills” from the menu on the left
  3. Choose the parked bill you wish to restore from the list on the left (system defaults to the most recent), and tap “Restore Bill”
  4. You will be returned to your iPad grid to complete the sale

Printing Receipts from Parked Bills

To print a receipt for a parked bill when the customer is ready to check out, and you want to give them a physical copy of the bill first, follow these steps:

1.     Tap the menu icon in the upper left of your Nobly iPad screen to access your “Settings”.

2.     Select “Parked Bills” from the menu on the left

3.     Choose the parked bill you wish to restore from the list on the left (system defaults to the most recent), and tap “Print Bill"

4.     You can stay on this screen to restore the bill ready for payment or return to your food menu screen by clicking Back at the top of the page.
