You can edit your tax settings to create your tax amounts and to set default rates to new products. 

Setting up Tax rates

  1. Head to your backoffice via the iPad or computer at app.noblypos.com
  2. Select Settings from the menu 
  3. Click/Tap General Settings and then select Tax Settings from the dropdown menu 
  4. To add a new tax rate select the green Add Tax Rate button below the tax box
  5. Then select the name and insert the percentage amount for the tax

If you would like, you can set up tax groups for when you have different layers of tax (i.e State and Federal) 

  1. Head to your backoffice via the iPad or computer at app.noblypos.com
  2. Select Settings from the menu 
  3. Click/Tap General Settings and then select Tax Settings from the dropdown menu 
  4. Select Add another tax to group below the tax name 
  5. You can then insert the different components and the amounts that make up that tax rate

Setting Default Tax Rates

  1. Head to your backoffice via the iPad or computer at app.noblypos.com
  2. Select Settings from the menu 
  3. Click/Tap General Settings and then select Tax Settings from the dropdown menu 
  4. You will see the option for “Please select your default tax rate for…” 
  5. Select the tax you want to default and hit save
  6. Now when you ass a new product, the tax will default to that tax rate (don’t worry you can still change it on the product edit screen)
